The Marlborough wine region is home to 73% of New Zealand’s grape growers. For the first time in 2022 & again in 2023 and 2024, Wine Marlborough wanted to work with a local artist to produce special trophies for their Annual Wine Awards.

Awards championing Excellence, Provenance, Diversity and a “Best in show” saw 23 individually designed ceramic trophies being hand made for the commission each year.

Two different styles and sizes and four colour combinations all sat upon ceramic plinths.

Working in collaboration, saw the trophies presented at special Awards Ceremony’s in 2022, 2023 & 2024

The new Trophies were ‘very well received’ by the Marlborough Wine industry!
